Call for Abstracts: OTAG Annual Scientific Conference 2024

In celebration of World Occupational Therapy Day, the Occupational Therapy Association of Ghana (OTAG) is pleased to invite abstract submissions for the 2024 edition of its Annual Scientific Conference.

The conference will be held virtually on October 19th, 2024, under the theme:

“Positioning Occupational Therapy for Social Transformation”

We welcome abstracts from diverse perspectives and regions, and encourage participation from all stakeholders in the field. Submissions are open to all areas of occupational therapy practice and research.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Abstracts must be submitted as a Word document (maximum one page).
  • All submissions should be sent to: abstract.otag@gmail.com
  • Deadline for submission: October 9th, 2024
  • Notification of acceptance or rejection: October 10th, 2024

Conference Registration Information

Registration for the virtual OTAG Annual Scientific Conference 2024 is available at a subsidized fee. Once the registration form is completed, payment instructions will be sent to your email within three working days. Upon confirmation of payment, a unique Zoom link will be provided for conference access.

Early bird registration – 10% off by 20th September 2024

  • International Practitioners (Outside Africa): $50
  • International Students (Outside Africa): $20
  • International Practitioners (Within Africa): $10
  • International Students (Within Africa): $5
  • Registered Ghanaian Practitioners: GHC 50
  • Non-registered Ghanaian Practitioners: GHC 100
  • Registered Ghanaian Students: GHC 20
  • Non-registered Ghanaian Students: GHC 50
